An unexpected CaRoot story
Chapter 1: A detective in the garden
"It happened," said detective CaRoot. "See, there are some grated carrots lying on the ground."
"Do you think it is our suspect?" asked the officer.
"Definitely," replied the detective. "I have seen this kind of trace before. All we know is that our suspect has struck again."
"I must warn you, detective. We need to find the crime scene and save our victim before it is too late," said the officer.
"Yes, we must hurry," replied the detective.
* * *
Unfortunately, no crime scene was found.
"We are out of clues, and it is getting late," said the detective.
Back at her apartment, CaRoot had been looking for this suspect for a long time. Every piece of information she had was there, in her notebook and displayed on the walls of her apartment. The methods, the traces, the decoys... the crime could have happened anywhere.
"Oh yes, tomorrow I need to report to the mayor about the current situation, so I need to prepare my report," said CaRoot.
After reading her notes, she realized that it wasn't grass around the traces this afternoon, but some lettuce...
